More than being “good with people”
What being a DrHugger practitioner means.
A practitioner needs to listen without promising treatment, communicate clearly and stop an interaction when boundaries or safety require it.
Registration does not constitute employment, certification or a commitment to collaborate. Contact us for the prerequisites and terms that apply to you.

The practitioner pathway
Understand the role
The framework is strictly platonic and non-sexual, and is for adults. This is not a therapeutic role.
Check the prerequisites
Read the participation requirements without submitting documents. Self-assessment does not mean acceptance.
Explore the training
Training covers consent, boundaries, communication and scenario-based practice. Ask for the current programme, duration and learning format.
Understand the assessment
Ask about assessment, the interview, criteria, assessors and reassessment options before making a commitment.
Distinguish collaboration from training
Completion does not automatically lead to collaboration. Onboarding requires a separate review and a human decision.
Express your interest in registering
To register as a practitioner, contact info@drhugger.gr. Do not send personal documents in your first message. Registration does not guarantee a position, clients or income.

This role is not for everyone
A therapeutic role
Do not present the service as psychotherapy, medical care or a wellbeing intervention with guaranteed results.
Romantic or sexual intent
The framework is strictly platonic. Any intention that conflicts with this is incompatible with the role.
Tolerating boundary violations
Politeness does not take priority over safety. A practitioner needs to be able to stop an interaction clearly.

Trained and certified by Cuddle Sanctuary. He works with men seeking platonic human contact.

A data protection lawyer and the team’s safety coordinator.
Safety and data protectionEleni Vasileiou
A certified EFT observer who contributes to team training on verbal boundaries. Her role at DrHugger is explicitly non-therapeutic.
