Professional cuddler training: the DrHugger Practitioner Pack

Programme purpose

The aim is to understand consent, boundaries, professional conduct, clear communication and the operational limits of a non-sexual human-contact service. This is not training in psychotherapy or healthcare.

Training topics

What platonic human contact is and what it is not.
Ongoing consent, verbal check-ins and stopping immediately.
Personal boundaries, power, pressure and recognising incompatibility.
Professional communication before, during and after a session.
Privacy, minimal data and avoiding sensitive personal accounts.
Check-in/check-out, incident reporting and escalation once approved.
Non-therapeutic language, ethics and avoiding misleading claims.

Format and duration

Ask for the current programme, duration, frequency, hours, assignments, support, price and dates before confirming your participation.

Assessment

Ask about the assessment and interview format, scoring system, assessors, passing threshold, reassessment and appeals.

Internal certificate

Any certificate associated with the Practitioner Pack is internal. It is not presented as a government-issued licence, academic qualification, professional accreditation or guarantee of collaboration. Ask for the exact conditions for its award.

Practitioner registrations are accepted by enquiry. No payment or promise of a place should be made outside an approved, publicly available process.
